Here is a song about Leucadia, written and performed by a homegrown Leucadian.
That is by Diana Monzeglio, a San Dieguito Class of ’77 grad, and recorded for the KGB Home Grown album made that year. Backing vocals are by Sara Ecke May.

I am not a music teacher or critic,, if I was, she would get an A plus! Perhaps she would be kind enough, if she reads this, to contact the Encinitas Environment Day committee? I would probably be the best connection since it is this Sunday, June 7th at Cottonwood Creek Park.. My number is 760-436-6798. She is really good and I love her voice and message.
I'm very sorry to say that Diana passed away from cancer in the early 80's. I've not known anyone more kind than she was and I miss her friendship.
