The Hall Park Needs a Shooting Range

  1. JP..you are so on top of the concerns in this community. I am vigoursely and vigouerelsly opposed to the park for this very reason. A community park needs access to every pastime, be it with a ball, arrow, dog poopping, or firearm. All are Constitutional, with a Capital C, as in See Me Supreme Court *(CMESuPre) Jallejuah Ya!

  5. Great idea. Let's also include a water ski park like Santee is doing. Maybe Camogie and Hurling fields. We could go from a regional park to an "International Hall Park". That will put us on the map.

  9. Guns schmuns. I know where they could get a really cool sign that reads "Quail Gardens Park". The only word they'd have to add is Park. Or if it's a Quail hunting lot "Quail Gardens Emporium".

    I like Walter's comment, Morgan.

  10. I like the idea of a skeet shooting range with the skeet heading out over Rubenstein Ave. Maybe take care of some of those wild political fundraiser types

  13. Well, if we are going to have a pepper spray area, I want a taser and a mace spray area as well. Let's learn it all.

  14. How about a teen center, so teens can stand next to each other as they text and set up times to go to the Beach?

That’s a great idea and the City can hire 30 more people to operate it! It will only cost $16 million and $200.000 a year to operate. Money? who cares, get it from Obama and his Feds. They print it faster than a wetback can run across the border.

  15. 7:11 (not the store)

OK, I know that space is limited, but there's plenty of possiblities on 44 acres. So if we get to have a pepper spray, mace spray and tazer area, I insist we have both children's and adult's interrogation rooms. A meaningful real life learning experience for the active at risk Encinitan.

  16. And don't forget the squirrels. We could capture all the critters from Beacons and let 'em loose and then Dalagar'll have some real killin' fun! Yay!
