Library to be Improved

From the in box:

"After spending $20 million and taking on decades of debt to fund a Taj Mahal library, the city is now acknowledging that they let the contractors get away with shoddy construction and the first repair tab for the still-new building is $143,000."

The council is discussing this in two days. Link to the council agenda:

  1. I wonder how they arrived at that $143,000 price tag when it hasn't gone out to bid yet?

  2. Simple math:
    10 mexicans, 10 shovels = $1,000
    1 ole' boy = $142,000

  3. The City is the inspector who approves the work, who ever passed this shoddy work should be fired.
